I don’t think there’s ever anyone who goes to Vegas and not have a good time. I think even the most undetermined like myself will end up having a blast. I’ve been to Vegas a few times before and I know it’s a great place to party and have fun but for some reason I just wasn’t too keen on going this time. My mom’s never been there though and my nieces whom we were visiting in Phoenix at the beginning of our trip had a Tae Kwon Do tournament going on there so we had two good reasons to pack up and go.
So much of Vegas is the same as the last time I was there and so much of it has changed. The Bellagio Fountain is still one of the biggest attractions and of course the garden is a big favorite with a different theme this time with gazebos, bridges, and ponds. The gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel, the Eiffel Tower of the Paris Hotel, the NY skyline and the roller coaster of the New York Hotel, The Forum shops at Caesar’s Palace, the volcano at the Mirage, are among the old favorites and are still drawing the biggest crowds. There’s definitely a myriad of things to see and do. The interminable list of shows can be overwhelming. Too many to choose from and they all look good! The Cirque du Soleil shows and Celine Dion are two of the most famous ones. And what’s Vegas like at night? What else can I say about it. It’s Vegas. The biggest parties happen
at night. All you need is your party spirit and an open mind. The Vegas night scene is mind blowing so better be prepared and don’t be a party pooper! If I have to give one tip, ladies bring a pair of flats in case you need them(most likely you would). I saw a lot of women walking barefoot at the end of the night. Those heels can be brutal.
Anyways, I personally have my own favorites in Vegas. Aside from the dancing fountain at the Bellagio, my most favorite thing to do is simply going to the major hotel lobbies. My old favorite of course is The Wynn. You see, Las Vegas is not all about partying and gambling. The top hotels in Vegas have the most extravagant and alluring decor that would wow you and make your eyes pop as soon as you walk in. Some of them are so magical and grand that simply walking into them is already an experience. Here are my top picks for amazing lobbies in Sin City.
The Wynn
Bellagio Hotel
The Venetian Hotel
Caeasar’s Palace
Cosmopolitan
Encore
Aria
